  • How do I book my tandem skydive?
Booking in for your skydive couldn’t be easier! Contact us with your details as well as what date/time you wish to do your jump and that’s it.
  • Why chose Skydive Seychelles?
There are many reasons to join us for a jump at Skydive Seychelles! Our instructors are some of the best in the business, having done many thousands of jumps each they know how to keep you safe and all the while making sure you feel totally comfortable so all you need to do is enjoy the experience. We understand that for most people a first skydive takes a lot of courage and trust, our instructors are always excited to share their passion for the sport by helping you overcome any hesitations you may have. We also only use the most up to date equipment on the market so you can be sure that from the time you step into the plane to the time you land, you’re in safe hands. And what should not need to be said is THAT VIEW! Having jumped in countless countries all over the world, our staff all agree that a skydive over the Seychelles Islands is the most breathtaking. Being the only skydiving operation in the country, you are sure to get a totally unique experience by seeing the beautiful Seychelles Islands in the most exciting way possible.
  • How far in advance should I book?
To ensure your suitable booking time is available, we recommend that you book as early as possible. If going for a skydive was a last minute spontaneous decision (we totally get it) don’t fret, go to our booking page and if there isn’t a time slot that suits you send us a message and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate you.
  • What is the best time slot to book in for my skydive?
While we can skydive from sunrise to sunset, we always recommend trying to book in the mornings. The weather conditions are normally more stable and will increase your chance of completing your skydive without having to wait around for any possible adverse weather.
  • Are photos and videos included in the price?
Yes they are! With every skydive package we include a professionally edited video of your experience as well as photos loaded onto a USB stick so you can then share your excitement with all of your family and friends.
  • Do you have group rates?
Yes! We love having groups at our dropzone. Please click here to check out our group rates and special offers.
  • Can I reschedule?
We understand that plans can change and you may need to reschedule your booking. All we ask is that you try to notify us as early as possible so we can find you a more suitable time. Cancellations or rescheduling a booking under 24hrs may incur a fee.
  • Are there any age, weight or health restrictions that I need to know about?"
There are only a few restrictions that you should be aware of prior to booking in for your skydive. All jumpers must be at least 18 years of age, but there is no max age limit so bring the grandparents along too. All jumpers must be under 120kg (jumpers over 100kg will incur a surcharge). We all come in different shapes and sizes but due to some equipment limitations, jumpers over 90kg may need to be assessed on the day to ensure that they are safe to skydive. It is very rare that someone will be declined due to their size, but safety is our top priority and we promise to handle this as discreetly as possible. The only other requirement is that your are in a reasonably fit and healthy condition. Upon arrival you will be required to fill out a waiver acknowledging that you have no pre-existing health conditions that may not be suitable for skydiving. Please contact us here if you need any more information.
  • How safe is skydiving?
Skydiving is safer than you might first think. Here at Skydive Seychelles, the safety of our staff and customers is our top priority and if we didn’t think it was safe, we wouldn’t be jumping. It's a common misconception that, because we take part in an adrenaline sport, we must enjoy risk. But the reality is that we want to enjoy skydiving for many, many years and as such, we do all we can to stay as safe as possible so we can go home to our families at the end of every day.
  • Will wind, rain or cloud effect my skydive?"
We want to skydive in the safest, most desirable conditions as possible, thus there are a few weather restrictions that may affect your jump. Wind is the most common condition that we have to monitor. Some days might look fantastic to jump, but if the wind is over a certain strength or from an undesirable direction we may not be able to operate. We don’t jump when it is raining, as it can be uncomfortable falling through it at over 200kmph. If there are few clouds in the sky, normally it isn’t an issue but if there is full cloud cover we try not to jump as we want to see that amazing view of all of the islands.
  • What happens if my jump is cancelled due to bad weather?
In the unfortunate event that you were not able to skydive due to adverse weather conditions, we will try our best to accommodate you on another day that suits you
  • What else can I do if the weather is bad?
There are many amazing things to see and do in the Seychelles from snorkelling the crystal clear waters to hiking through one of the many beautiful wilderness trails around the islands. Be sure to ask one of our knowledgeable staff for any tips on things to do in the area or any deals we may be able to offer you.
  • How long will the skydive experience take from the time I arrive?
Please allow at least few hrs for your skydiving experience. We always strive to run as efficiently as possible, but due to weather factors beyond our control your booking may need to be postponed. If the weather is good and everyone arrives on time you could be done in as little as 1.5 hrs. We suggest you don’t book any other activities too closely to your booking on the day of your skydive.
  • What should I wear?
You can jump in whatever you feel comfortable in. The weather in Seychelles is generally amazing all year long, so casual summer attire is recommended. Wear comfortable closed toed runners or skate shoes, you won’t be able to jump with flip flops or the kind of hiking boots with hooks on the laces.
  • Can I jump at the same time as my friend?
Our skydiving plane can accommodate up to 3 tandem pairs at a time. While you will be able to share the plane with up to 2 of your friends, it will not be possible to see them in freefall. If you’re lucky, you instructor will be able point out your friends when you’re flying under parachute.
  • How fast will I fall?
After exiting the aircraft, we accelerate for the first 10-12 seconds until we achieve a constant speed, popularly called “terminal velocity”. Our speed depends on the weight of the tandem pair, and is about 200-250 km/h
  • How long will the skydive last?
You will have a scenic 15 min plane ride as you climb to altitude. Once you exit you will freefall for approximately 50 seconds, and will fly your parachute for 5 to 7 minutes before landing safely back on the ground.
  • What altitude will I jump from?
We exit from an altitude of 12000ft, that’s over 3.5km!
  • What happens if the parachute doesn’t open?
We get this question all the time, but we can assure you it’s nothing to worry about. In the very unlikely event that there is an issue with the primary parachute, your instructor will release it and deploy the secondary ‘reserve’ parachute.
  • Can I take my GoPro on the skydive?
It is not possible for you to take a camera of any kind with you on your skydive. Here’s the simple truth: Even if you could bring a camera on a tandem skydive, you shouldn’t. Allow yourself, just this once, to live in the moment and let your instructor do the work by capturing the moment so you can enjoy the experience and relive it with the video footage after you land.
  • Can my friends and family come to watch?
Definitely! Bring your entire support crew and they can be part of the whole experience from watching you get ready to waiting to catch your expression at the landing area.
  • What happens after I arrive at the DZ?
The first thing you will do once you arrive at the dropzone is to fill out your waiver and finalize payment. When that boring stuff is out of the way and it’s your turn to jump, that’s when the fun begins. You will meet your instructor and they will start to prepare you for your jump by harnessing you up and briefing you with all the information you need to know. Once your instructor is satisfied with your training and the weather conditions are suitable, you will then head to the plane for that all exciting ride to altitude where you know what happens next!
  • Can I request music for my video?
Unfortunately due to licensing reasons we are unable to allow music requests for your tandem video. We always try to use the most current and suitable music for your video. If there is a particular genre of music you would like or not like to be on your video, let us know and we will try to accommodate if possible.
